Why does the app track my location?

This app tracks your location for two reasons:

1. To show you relevant information: when you open the app, you will see information on your Dashboard about your current location. The app uses your location to show you location-based information.
2. As a personal safety/security measure: system administrators are able to track your location using a secure online web portal which only they have access to. This allows them to view your GPS location in the event of unforeseen circumstances. You can control the tracking options yourself: you can choose to be tracked all the time; you can turn tracking on only during your trip; or you can completely disable tracking.
